I am also pregnant during this season (though I had our baby girl Vivienne Madison Pope on Sunday May 13) and while I may not request placenta smoothies, I have to admit I had the same anxiety as the rest of my clients. We all want to be the best parents we can be and sometimes this anxiety makes us do or request crazy things....

I am thrilled I was invited to host an evening to celebrate the book "The Super Adventures of Sophie and the City-All in a Day’s Work" written by Kelly Florio Kasouf (in the pic with me). The evening and the book were a perfect marriage between fashion and parenting (two things you all know I hold near and dear) and so I couldn't be happier to tell you more about this fabulous children's book.

I believe just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t wear some of this season’s hottest fashion trends. I’ve pulled some of my favorite pieces from the new Spring 2012 Rosie Pope Maternity collection, that feature hot Spring trends allowing you to show off your growing bump without sacrificing style.

I don’t know if I was a particularly girly girl on the outside. I didn’t spend time dressing as one princess or another, glued to every prince and princess tale, although I do remember secretly wanting to be all glitter and fairies and I have to admit now as I walk passed Tutus, Fairy Princess Stories and any other glitz that catches my eye I crack a smile thinking about whether my daughter will be into all of these things….because if she is mommy is ready to get out that bedazzler and glitter glue!

So it’s almost that time in my pregnancy when my hubby and I can find out whether we are having a girl or a boy.  It such a big, exciting decision for couples deciding whether they want to find out or not and if they do how.  I am a big believer in doing whatever makes you feel like the experience of pregnancy and becoming a parent is even more...

So I’m not exactly the type to usually tuck into a beef burger but after my last prenatal visit I might have to think otherwise!  At one’s end of first trimester appointment most are tested for anemia and usually the results come back with no alarm bells sounding.  However as pregnant women head further into their pregnancies and their blood volume expands

I recently sat down with Jill Blakeway, a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist. Jill is the Clinical Director of the YinOva Center here in NYC and is the coauthor of “Making Babies: A Proven Three Month Program for Maximum Fertility”.

My toddler was ridiculously excited for Halloween.  So much so that when he changed his mind from wanting to be Superman to Batman I got online late at night and had rush delivered a new costume so that he wouldn't be disappointed.   As I picked him up from school he threw himself into my arms and dived directly into my bag to make sure I'd brought both his costume and his pumpkin basket for all the candy collection we would be doing.

One of my favorite things to do at the end of a crazy day is to climb into bed with my 3 year old and read him bedtime stories before he goes to sleep.  We are both usually so tired that we fall asleep before we ever get to a third book and my husband has to wake me for dinner, but those moments together reading through the pages, laughing, skipping back and forth from book to book are some of the best.

Well my lovelies, I am so pleased to tell you all that the news is true; I am indeed expecting my third child and due next year.

After all the fertility struggles I experienced getting pregnant with baby Wellington I can hardly believe that I am pregnant again so soon and what a surprise, the very best surprise I could ever get.  As you all know we are shooting Season 2 of Pregnant in heels (although I am definitely Pregnant in flats right now), so hopefully you'll get to follow me on this amazing journey on each episode.
