Morning Coffee
I don’t think I intentionally set about being a Luddite but apparently it happened to me! Thankfully and at long last though I have been pulled into the technology era…well, sort of. My new Facebook page is live, I’m tweeting like a banshee and the first part of our spanking brand new website is up for all to see. Stay tuned as we’ll be launching some amazing new components in the months to come. I know clothes, bags, education and community have so far been scattered online, but no longer my lovelies! As our new website rolls out, we’ll cater to your every pregnant and new mom need. I am really here to help you through this process, make it the most amazing journey of your life and help you to be the best mom you can be. And, remember, this means different things for every woman – this is where I come in, to help guide you to this end goal because this truly is the key to happy parenting and a happy you! So, love me on facebook (I know, the official term is “like”) and follow my tweeter (I know, I know) and keep checking back in with www.rosiepope.com
Beans for Mommy-to-be (without the caffeine of course):
Award season is here and there must be something in the water of the Hollywood Hills because it seems as though just about every celeb is preggers. If you are looking to the stars for gown tips I have a few words to say: Stay away from the Grecian gowns early in your pregnancy as they just look like a mumu. First time bumps aren’t very noticeable until the 6 month mark so those gowns can be swallowing. Stick with styles that are tight around the bump until you are basking in third trimester wonder. Jane Krakowski nailed it with this long Oscar-worthy gown, tight around the bump with a slit up the side to accentuate her legs.
Beans for the Mommy (with a double shot of caffeine):
If you have just given birth and have an event to go to it can often be tough to find that gown that doesn’t just make you feel flappy around the middle. This is when the Grecian or Empire waistline dress is best. Cover that post baby bump with extra fabrics and rock those amazing jublies (translation: boobs) mother nature has blessed you with for the first weeks and months post delivery.
Beans for Fashion:
Looking for an award ceremony worthy gown that accentuates the bumps, covers up the lumps and pretty much turns you into an A-list celeb? Then try my Rosie Pope Maternity Oscar Gown. She is a beauty!
