In The Recording Studio
After so much has been said and written about my speech you can imagine how A-M-A-Z-I-N-G it was when I was asked to record my book Mommy IQ: The Complete Guide to Pregnancy as an audio book. Both of which will be available on October 2nd. The irony of the whole thing is hilarious! I just hope that my efforts to learn to speak clearly will prevent people driving along listening to the book from saying, “wait, what did she say?”
As absurd as this is, at least I’m not attempting to record an album, if that were the case you have my permission to slap me and tell me I’ve totally gone crazy town because I just might be the worst singer in the history of reality TV stars and that’s saying something!
So the moral to this blog is, try not to let it get to you when someone criticizes you. Before you know it your unique qualities may turn into the things people like most about you. Embrace your little oddities, they make you, you!
How have you embraced your unique qualities and used them to your advantage? I’d love to hear about it here or on Facebook or Twitter.
