Best Gifts for Pregnant Women this Holiday Season

Posted on December 18, 2013 at 8:07 am by Rosie Pope / Mommy Maven, Style

Buying gifts for others can be so difficult.  And if that person you’re buying for is pregnant?  It’s practically a holiday miracle if you can find something that they like, that fits, and that flatters them.  If you are still trying to figure out what to buy a loved one who is about to have a baby, look no further!  Here are my favorite picks that will charm any pregnant woman this holiday season.  And the best part?  If you use Amazon Prime you can still get any of these gems in time for Christmas.

Top Row, Left to Right

Scotch Naturals Non-Toxic Nail Polish and Suncoats Natural Nail Polish Remover

Buying makeup and nail polish for pregnant women can be difficult.  Many, many women avoid a lot of beauty products during pregnancy because of the chemicals they contain.  But even the most cautious mama-to-be will love these natural nail care products!  And Scotch has a fabulous range of colors that are super on-trend this season.

London Shopper Leisure

Diaper bags so rarely make it on the registry, but believe me when I tell you that virtually every pregnant woman would LOVE a chic diaper bag that doesn’t look like a diaper bag – but does function like one.  Plus, you don’t have to worry about picking the wrong size.

Mommy IQ

Books are a fabulous stocking stuffer, and my Mommy IQ will do a great job of preparing mom and dad for the joys of having a newborn.

Pre de Provence Shea Butter Foot Cream in Peppermint

Nothing like a little peppermint cream for aching, swollen feet.

Bottom Row, Left to Right

Waffle Cocoon

An open-front sweater like the Waffle Cocoon is perfect for pregnancy and immediately after for breastfeeding.  It’s a big, slouchy, comfy sweater that can work even if you don’t get exactly the right size.

Classic V-Neck Sweater

Another great sweater option, the Classic V-Neck Sweater is super flattering on all bodies.  It’s also great for hiding that post-baby pooch, so mom will get a ton of use out of this gem.

Maria Blouse

Nothing beats a silky, patterned shirt for brightening up even the most boring outfit.  The shape of the Maria Blouse is almost universally flattering, so you won’t have to worry that the expecting mom won’t love this.

Gift Cards

If all else fails, give my stores a call at (212) 608-2036 and you can buy your favorite pregnant friend a gift card so she can pick for herself.
