Places to Pee in NYC for your Potty Training Toddler
Having potty trained 3 out of my 4 kids (Bridget is begging me to do it but if you read my potty training blog post, you know how I like to wait). I have also helped countless others in the potty-training field, so I know a good bit about where you can find places pee on the fly in New York City to avoid accidents. This is a very handy list to have, I might add, for moms as well as potty training little ones.
Top 5 Places to Pee for 2016:
1. Barnes and Noble bathroom
The bathroom in the children’s book department gets a 5-star Rosie rating, and there’s no need to make a purchase (unless you feel guilty). Plus you might even get some reading done on the way out!
2. Maternity Stores
Visit Rosie Pope at 1265 Madison Ave. and 55 Warren Street. A maternity store without a bathroom is like a man with out a country!
3. Snazzy Hotel lobbies
After all, they don’t know if you are staying there if you walk in with confidence. I’m especially fond of The Four Seasons in Midtown, The Lowes Regency, or The Mark for their easy access and relatively central location.
4. Supermarket bathrooms
Unfortunately these are not the nicest, but finding yourself in the supermarket with your toddler needing to use the potty is a pretty likely occurrence. The good news is they always have bathrooms, even if they are just for staff, they will let you use them. I’m not going to sugar coat it though, you may not go back to said supermarket but at least there was no accident!
5. Le Pain Quotidian
Le Pain is far cleaner than Starbucks and can be found on just about as many street corners, plus, after your bathroom break, there are plenty of goodies to make everyone happy.
